The Dogz Online (http://www.dogzonline.com.au) web site began in Australia 1998 by me (Troy Cumner). Since it's small beginnings, it has changed and grown from being a basic breeders directory listing, to become one of Australia's more popular and well known dog web sites.
I ran the site myself for 8 years and in September 2006, 2 new members (Warren and Ron - already well known in the show dog commmunity) were asked to join the Dogz Online team to help the site expand and grow. So even though it is run by 'a company' (ie Dogz Online Pty Ltd), we are still a small team of like-minded individuals who are passionate about seeing the site succeed. In January 2007, the United Kingdom site was added.
